I treat my works as „coordinates”. By creating objects I create signs, strengthened through basic elements of visual language – repetition, reiteration and exposure. The condensation of a fragment is the material for the emergence of its autonomy, creating an additional dimension – a dimension of suspension, depth of perception and depth of knowledge.
Traktuję moje prace jako „współrzędne”. Tworząc obiekty tworzę znaki, wzmacniając je poprzez podstawowe elementy języka wizualnego : powtarzanie, re-iterację i ekspozycję. Kondensacja fragmentu staje się materiałem dla wyłonienia jego autonomii, prowadząc do powstania dodatkowego wymiaru — wymiaru zawieszenia, głębi percepcji i głębi poznania.
BIO
Paulina Sylwestrowicz, PhD – an interdisciplinary visual artist, painter, sculptor, sound performer, and researcher of phenomena related to chaotic form. In her work, she combines reflections on consciousness with an exploration of the limits of perception – investigating states of instability, emptiness, and phenomena of synchronization.
She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the Institute of Fine Arts in Kielce, and the PZSM in Bydgoszcz, where she studied piano.
Absolwentka Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie, Instytutu Sztuk Pięknych w Kielcach oraz PZSM w Bydgoszczy w klasie fortepianu.
Paulina Sylwestrowicz, interdyscyplinarna artystka wizualna, malarka, rzeźbiarka, performerka dźwiękowa…oraz badaczka zjawisk związanych z formą chaotyczną. W swojej twórczości łączy refleksję nad świadomością z eksploracją granic percepcji – badając stany niestabilności, pustki oraz zjawiska synchronizacji.
